Are you ready for some fun? These Burnished Whistling Points are historic re-creations of the points used by the Huns to signal during battles. They make a nice loud whistle when shot into the air.
Today these points are great for use as a novelty item at backyard shoots, or at Medieval reenactments and Renaissance Faire events.

Expert craftsmen in Italy have recreated the special shape and holes that give this point its unique whistling qualities. They've added a modern twist by making the point removable from the ferrule. That means the ferrule can stay glued to the shaft while the point is unscrewed for convenient cleaning.
Mount to a 5° point taper.
Burnished whistling points are made from steel and then treated with a burnishing process to give them a traditional color as well as to protect them from rust.
Sold by the each. Available in 11/32" diameter only. Weigh approximately 250 grains each.
