The Paklite Skinner is an excellent knife for gutting and skinning whitetail deer and other game. The drop point makes this knife easier to control, while the bigger belly and longer edge allows for more cutting action.
The Paklite Skinner is made handle to tip from 420HC steel, which has close to the same durability of high carbon alloys, while also providing corrosion resistance equal to chromium stainless steel. Ordinarily you have to sacrifice durability for corrosion resistance, or vice versa. But 420HC steel brings you the best of both worlds.
