The 130 grain model features an aluminum ferrule. The 200 grain model features a steel ferrule. Both are designed to fit all carbon and aluminum arrows as they have an industry standard 8-32 thread. This is the same thread used by all arrow inserts (except Easton Deep Six).
Like most Steel Force broadheads, these 4-blade broadheads are razor sharp and made from the finest knife grade steel. The straight edge offers slightly better penetration than convex blade broadheads.
Features a 11/32" ferrule. Measures 2½" long x 1-1/8" cutting width with 1" bleeder blades. Sold by the 3-pack. Available in 130 grains (aluminum ferrule) and 200 grains (steel ferrule.) Please specify. Does not include lifetime warranty.
Why do some hunters prefer a 4-blade broadhead? A 4-blade broadhead creates additional cutting surfaces compared to a standard 2-blade design, increasing tissue damage and often producing more noticeable blood trails. Many hunters choose 4-blade heads when they want a balance of penetration and wound channel size without moving to extremely wide cutting diameters.
