Classic feel. Modern performance.
The Traditional Only® Sheridan 62" Longbow is built for archers who crave the time-honored look and feel of traditional gear, but don’t want to sacrifice performance.
Lightweight and smooth-shooting, the Sheridan features a subtle reflex/deflex design for improved speed and reduced hand shock—perfect for long days on the range or in the woods.
Riser: Crafted from solid wood with a matching cap, the radiused, cut-to-center shelf offers a clean, instinctive shooting experience. The stitched leather grip adds a touch of comfort and class. A pre-cut hair rest and plate are included (not installed), allowing you to customize your setup to suit your style.
Limbs: With a bamboo core wrapped in wood-pattern fiberglass, the limbs combine the natural beauty of wood with the strength and reliability of modern materials. The result is a bow that looks as good as it shoots. Reinforced limb tips ensure compatibility with high-performance bow strings.
String: The Sheridan comes ready to shoot with a D97 Flemish twist bow string with center serving—delivering a clean release and traditional style right out of the box.
Whether you're stumping through the backwoods or practicing in the backyard, the Traditional Only Sheridan offers timeless elegance and dependable performance in every draw.

Choose from a left or right handed bow (choose based on what hand you Draw the bow string with), and bow weight at a 28" draw length. Remember that with a traditional bow the weight will change depending upon what your draw length is. Bow weight will change approximately ±2½ pounds for every inch from a bows rated draw length. So a bow rated 45# @ 28" bow is roughly a 42½# @ 27" or 47½# @ 29". Draw weight is marked at the nearest 5# increment to actual weight, (2#'s under and 3#'s over). This is an industry wide standard.
Bow stringer not included. A bow stringer is recommended for stringing any recurve bow or longbow. Stringing a bow without a bow stringer, or stringing it backwards will void a bow's warranty. Click here to see our Bow Stringers. It is recommended to unstring your bow if you do not plan to be shooting more than week. Store your bow on its side, or hanging vertically from a peg. Never rest the bow on the lower tip for extended periods of time. Never dry fire the bow (shooting without an arrow).
