Step up to a bow that grows with you. The Samick Ideal ILF Recurve Bow lives up to its name—designed as the perfect entry point for beginner and intermediate target archers, yet capable enough to follow you all the way to the winner’s podium.
The ILF (International Limb Fitting) system features center alignment along with weight and tiller adjustment, making it easy to customize your setup as your skills evolve. Allen wrenches are included so you can make adjustments right out of the box.
Riser: 25" die-cast aluminum riser, features solid, stable platform with a deep cut-past-center shelf for improved arrow flight and forgiveness. The removable high grip provides a comfortable, repeatable hand position, helping you settle into consistent form shot after shot. Includes a clicker hole with removable bar setup, ideal for shooters working through target panic or refining release timing. Multiple ATA accessory mounting points allow you to outfit your bow with a sight (mounting screws included), plunger, elevated rest, and stabilizers. Three 5/16" stabilizer bushings give you the flexibility to fine-tune balance with weights or stabilizer systems.
Limbs: Lightweight foam core and durable black fiberglass construction provide a forgiving draw cycle with reduced vibration and fatigue, perfect for long practice sessions on the range. Reinforced limb tips add durability and are compatible with modern string materials.
String: Samick Ideal Black Dacron bow string in lengths of 66", 68", or 70" (matched to limb length).
From backyard practice to competitive shooting lanes, the Samick Ideal ILF Recurve Bow is built to adapt, improve, and perform right alongside you—every shot, every session, every step forward.
Riser is available in right and left hand in colors of black, red, white, and blue. Limbs are available in draw weights from 18# to 36# in 2# increments and offered in lengths of Short (66" on 25" Riser), Medium (68" on 25" Riser), and Long (70" on 25" Riser). Please specify.
Typically with ILF bows the weight will adjust up or down 2# for every 2" of riser length. For example, if a pair of limbs is 40# on a 17" riser, they will be 42# on a 15" riser or 38# on a 19" riser. This is standard for all ILF risers and limbs.
Bow stringer not included. A bow stringer is recommended for stringing any recurve bow or longbow. Stringing a bow without a bow stringer, or stringing it backwards will void a bow's warranty. Click here to see our Bow Stringers. It is recommended to unstring your bow if you do not plan to be shooting more than week. Store your bow on its side, or hanging vertically from a peg. Never rest the bow on the lower tip for extended periods of time. Never dry fire the bow (shooting without an arrow).

Minimum Arrow Weight - Do not shoot an arrow weighing less than eight grains for every pound of peak draw weight. For example: If your bow's peak weight is 40 pounds at your 30" draw length, do not shoot an arrow weighing less than 320 grains total arrow weight (40# x 8 gpp = 320 grains). Shooting an arrow below eight grains per pound (gpp) can cause damage to your bow similar to dry firing and possible injury to the shooter or others nearby. Damage caused by shooting an arrow that is too light will damage the bow and will not be covered under warranty by 3Rivers Archery or bow manufacturer.
