The Ottoman Empire was one of the most successful military powers of its time. Their mounted archers were feared and respected from the grasslands of Asia to the ramparts of Europe. This quality laminated Turkish bow recreates the deadly weapon that forged an empire spanning three different continents.

The Turkish bow features the same static recurve design found in other horse bows. This means the bow stores more energy and has less stack than traditional working recurve bows.

The Turkish bow is made using quality materials. Features hard maple, with bamboo core limbs surrounded by clear fiberglass.

As with most horse bows and Eastern style bows, the Turkish bow is designed to shoot off the knuckle, requiring a bow glove.

This bow is perfect for use with your favorite thumb ring.

54" long bow. The included Dyneema bow string is 48". Suitable for right and left handed shooters. Available in draw weights of 35, 40, 45, and 50# @ 31" draw. Please specify.

Remember that with a traditional bow the weight will change depending upon what your draw length is. Bow weight will change approximately ±2½ pounds for every inch from a bow's rated draw length. So a bow rated 45# @ 31" bow is roughly a 42½# @ 30" or 47½# @ 32". Draw weight is marked at the nearest 5# increment to actual weight, (2#'s under and 3#'s over). This is an industry wide standard.

Bow stringer not included. A bow stringer is recommended for stringing any recurve bow or longbow. Stringing a bow without a bow stringer, or stringing it backwards will void a bow's warranty. Click here to see our Bow Stringers. It is recommended to unstring your bow ifyou do not plan to be shooting more than week. Store your bow on its side, or hanging vertically from a peg. Never rest the bow on the lower tip for extended periods of time. Never dry fire the bow (shooting without an arrow).
