DX5 Java Man Double Carbon Longbow LimbsItem Number: 82261X
Your DAS™ DX5 just got a double dose of Java! That's right! Java Man has created a set of double carbon longbow limbs PERFECT for the DX5 longbow riser!
Java Man Archery has long been respected as a premiere, quality bowyer. Now they've put that amazing skill to work on these powerful and elegant DX5 reflex/deflex longbow limbs.
The belly is constructed of Stabil-Kore™ under clear fiberglass, while the back is a double layer of carbon laminations giving you increased speed and stability. The tips are made from stacked Stabil-Kore™ to handle all of today's high performance bow strings. The core consists of two laminations of carbonized action bamboo for superb performance.
Trust us, these are some super sweet limbs! Designed with the 15" DX5 longbow riser in mind. These limbs let you enjoy a more compact reflex/deflex longbow design. Yet, they provide an amazingly smooth draw for their length.
They come with the DAS™ limb connection installed, but you can convert them to ILF using ILF limb bushings.
Choose the limb length of Long (60" on 15" riser) or X-Long (62" on 15" riser) in pull weights of 30#, 35#, 40#, 45#, 50#, 55#, or 60# @ 28" (measured on a 15" riser).
- Belly made from Stabil-Kore™ and clear glass
- Back is double layer of carbon laminations
- Core is two laminations of carbonized action bamboo
- Stacked Stabil-Kore™ limb tips
- Available in Long and X-Long in pull weights of 30#-60#
Remember that with a traditional bow the weight will change depending upon what your draw length is. Bow weight will change approximately ±2½ pounds for every inch from a bows rated draw length. So a bow rated 45# @ 28" bow is roughly a 42½# @ 27" or 47½# @ 29". Draw weight is marked at the nearest 5# increment to actual weight, (2#'s under and 3#'s over). This is an industry wide standard.
Bow stringer not included. A bow stringer is recommended for stringing any recurve bow or longbow. Stringing a bow without a bow stringer, or stringing it backwards will void a bow's warranty. Click here to see our Bow Stringers. It is recommended to unstring your bow if you do not plan to be shooting more than week. Store your bow on its side, or hanging vertically from a peg. Never rest the bow on the lower tip for extended periods of time. Never dry fire the bow (shooting without an arrow).
