The WASP Hammer SST has earned its reputation the hard way—by delivering brute strength and deadly reliability when it matters most.

At the heart of this broadhead is WASP’s Stainless Smart Tip (SST), a hardened penetration-first design that absorbs the initial impact and keeps its shape, allowing the blades to follow through with devastating force—strong enough to punch through ten stacked 55-gallon steel drums.

But strength alone isn’t enough. The Hammer SST pairs that rugged construction with excellent aerodynamics for clean arrow flight and deep, decisive penetration.

The result is a broadhead that flies true, hits hard, and holds together shot after shot—making it one of the strongest and most trusted fixed-blade broadheads bowhunters can put on their arrows.

The WASP Hammer has a devastating 1-3/16" cutting diameter with 0.027" stainless steel blades. The 125 grain model measures approximately 2" long, while the 100 grain model measures 1-3/4" long. Both feature a 5/16" aluminum ferrule.

The Hammer has industry standard 8-32 threads for use with all carbon and aluminum arrows, as well as all standard ATA inserts.

Comes with 6 replacement stainless steel blades.

Sold by the 3-pack. Available in 100 and 125 grains. Please specify.

Why is broadhead tip design important? A broadhead's tip is the first part to contact hide, muscle, and bone, making it a critical factor in penetration and durability. A strong tip can help maintain structural integrity when encountering hard materials and guide the broadhead through the target more efficiently. For this reason, many broadhead manufacturers invest heavily in tip design to improve both penetration performance and overall reliability.
