Preloading your .44 caliber black powder revolver saves you valuable time. That means more time to enjoy shooting. This loading stand from Traditions™ Firearms makes that process easier and more efficient.
Simply remove the cylinder from the revolver. Fill the chambers with propellant, leaving one chamber empty as the safety chamber. Then put a shooting wad over the powder in each chamber. Place the proper size ball atop each chamber. Then firmly push the handle down to seat the ball into the chamber. Repeat the procedure for each chamber.
This loading stand works with .44 caliber Pietta models 1851, 1858, 1860, and 1873. It will not fit .31 or .36 caliber cylinders.
