The 115 grain model features an aluminum ferrule. The 175 grain model features a steel ferrule. Both are designed to fit all carbon and aluminum arrows as they have an industry standard 8-32 thread. This is the same thread used by all arrow inserts (except Easton Deep Six).
Like most Steel Force broadheads, these 2-blade broadheads are razor sharp and made from the finest knife grade steel. The straight edge offers slightly better penetration than convex blade broadheads.
Features a 11/32" ferrule. Measures 2½" long x 1-1/8" cutting width. Sold by the 3-pack. Available in 115 grains (aluminum ferrule) and 175 grains (steel ferrule.) Please specify. Does not include lifetime warranty.
Why are some broadheads offered in multiple grain weights? Broadhead manufacturers often offer the same designin different grain weights to accommodate a variety of arrow setups and hunting preferences. Changing broadhead weight can affect total arrow weight, front-of-center (FOC) balance, and overall arrow performance. Offering multiple weight options allows hunters to choose a broadhead that best matches their equipment and shooting style.
