MAXweld Primer Pen

Perfect for use with your AAE Trad Vanes. The AAE MAXweld Primer Pen creates a powerful “weld” between your AAE Trad Vanes and your chosen arrow.

Simply use the felt tip to apply the primer to the base of your vane, and allow it to dry. Then glue your vane to the shaft using AAE Max Bond Vane Adhesive (sold separately).

We recommend using Max Clean Arrow Wipes (sold separately) to clean your arrow shaft before using the Primer Pen.

What Does a Fletching Primer Do?  A fletching primer prepares the surface of a vane to improve adhesion between the vane and the arrow shaft. By promoting a stronger bond with theadhesive, a primer can help reduce vane lifting and improve long-term durability. Many modern vane materials benefit from the use of a primer, especially when maximum bond strength is desired.
