Any woodworker or bowyer would be proud to have this quality leather stropping wheel in his workshop.
Made from natural leather, this stropping wheel is designed to attach to any power rotary tool. Simply use the hole in the middle of the wheel to place it on the tool, then secure it in place, then mount the tool to your workbench. Your stropping wheel comes with a stick of Beavercraft polishing compound that you can use to coat the wheel. Then you're ready to start polishing your knives, axes, blades, and other edged tools.
Beavercraft polishing compound is perfect for polishing hard metals and alloys such as stainless steel and cast iron. Use it to keep a keen edge on your drawknives, scrapers, and other bow building tools. It is also ideal for polishing glass, stones, and other non-metallic materials.
The stropping wheel is fast, efficient, and accurate. You'll be amazed at the results, and wonder how you ever lived without it.

What is the difference between sharpening and polishing? Sharpening and polishing are related but distinct processes. Sharpening removes metal to create or restore an edge, while polishing refines that edge by smoothing microscopic imperfections left behind during sharpening. Many craftsmen use both steps to produce a cleaner, sharper, and more refined cutting edge on knives, broadheads, and woodworking tools.
