Available in three sizes to fit a wide range of traditional flintlock rifles and pistols. The 1/2" size is ideal for Traditions®, CVA®, and similar small locks. The 5/8" size fits many Pedersoli® rifles and pistols with small locks, along with other comparable lock designs. The 3/4" size is designed for Thompson/Center®, Lyman®, L&R®, and similar medium to large locks.

How long should a flint last? Flint life varies depending on the quality of the flint, the hardness of the frizzen, and how often you shoot. A quality flint can often provide dozens of shots before it needs to be repositioned or replaced. If spark production begins to decrease, lightly knapping or adjusting the flint may restore performance before a replacement is needed.
