The Ace Super Express was first developed back in the 1950s, when things were bigger, better, and bolder. Many bowhunters like this bigger size for the ease of sharpening. Ace uses a copper brazing for increased strength. This is the perfect "big" broadhead for bringing down big game.
Standard 5° point taper on the 11/32" ferrule. Measures approximately 2 1/2" long x 1 7/16" wide. Sold by the 6-pack in glue-on model only. Available in 175 and 200 grains. Please specify.
Why are larger broadheads often easier to sharpen? Larger broadheads provide more blade surface to work with when sharpening, making it easier to maintain a consistent angle across the edge. Many traditional bowhunters find that broadheads with longer, wider blades are more forgiving during sharpening and allow them to produce a keen hunting edge with less effort. This can be especially appealing to archers who prefer to sharpen their own broadheads by hand.
