The Eskilite broadhead is the 'little brother' to the Zwickey Eskimo broadhead. The 5/16" ferrule is a perfect match for today's most popular carbon arrows.
Special high-carbon Steel construction allows you to get the edges "hair popping sharp" and the triple-thick tip with special heat treating resists curling and blows through bone. The convex edge is the most efficient cutting edge and puts more steel up front where it's needed for strength. The Eskilite broadhead features no vents for deadly quiet arrow flight.
Designed to fit all carbon and aluminum arrows as they have an industry standard 8-32 thread. This is the same thread used by all arrow inserts (except Easton Deep Six).
Ferrule is 5/16". Measures 2¼" long x 1-1/16" cutting diameter. Weighs 135 grains. Sold by the 3-pack only.
Why do some bowhunters prefer a smaller ferrule broadhead? A smaller ferrule can provide a closer match to the diameter of many modern carbon arrows, creating a more streamlined arrow profile. This smooth shaft-to-broadhead transition may help reduce resistance in flight and during penetration. For this reason, many hunters shooting slim carbon shafts choose broadheads with smaller ferrules whenever possible.
