  • Q:

Whats the best glue to use on these to fletch feathers?

You really should use a cap wrap then you can use Fletch Tite Platinum. If you don't want to use ether then you will have to use Beyond Bond.

      Mr. StickBender
One question for you, are you planning on using feather fletchings or plastic? For feathers I have used the Bohning's fletching tape, simple and very durable. I have shot these arrows through straw bails over and over with never a sign of tearing off. Great product to use.
For plastic vanes I have used Fletch-It universal adhesive on aluminum shafts because it specifically states that is good for carbon, wood, and aluminum shafts. Some other glues are finicky depending on the shaft material. Those are the two tried and trued products that I have used with these shafts.. One thing to pay attention to with the Fletch-It glue is that you do not need a bunch of this on the fletching, just enough to cover it. It is thin and will run if there is any excess at all so use as little as possible to just cover the base of the vane. Hope this helps!

      Hi,
After all the talk I continue to use Bohning Platinum Fletching glue. I just completed a dozen new XX75 CamoHunter Easton Arrows with it. You can also use Duco but I'll stick with the Bohning Feletching glue purchased from 3Rivers.

  • Q:

Do these come with inserts if we just order shafts cut to length or do we need to order the inserts separate?

      A:

All of my bare shaft orders come with inserts. I then measure my arrow length cut to proper size and glue inserts within finished arrow.

  • Q:

The 2013 is listed as 32 3/8 stock length. The pull down menu for ordering doesn't offer the option to have the inserts installed without cutting the length. Is this an oversight or is there a reason the shaft must be cut down some?

  • Q:

i ordered a dozen carbon arrows and 2 of them werent shooting the same as the others , and i have experienced that with every dozen i get no matter which company , does the same go with aluminum , will there be about two that will shoot differently or does each arrow in a dozen shoot exactly like the other
    thanks

      A:

I haven't personally had that experience with carbon or aluminum. I have heard of that happening with arrows before but not every dozen. We haven't had any problems with arrows we sell from here.

I really wouldn't pick one over the other they both shoot very nice. As far as durability I believe that they are the same.

  • Q:

Are the unibushings included with these arrows? Also, do you have a brass insert for these, and what is the weight of the included inserts?
    Thanks in advance

      A:

Uni bushings do come installed in these shafts. The only brass inserts we have are for Aluminum shaft sizes 2016, 2117, 2315, and 2317. The inserts weight that come with the shaft vary by spine.
