Step back into Medieval times and prepare for War! Bodkin points were commonly used by medieval English archers for target shooting and during battles. Cousin to the armor piercing long bodkin, the short bodkin could be produced in the mass quantities that wars demanded. The Long Bodkins, however, were typically held in reserve and used for piercing the tough defenses of armored knights.

Rugged looking, but very functional. Design and material makes these short bodkins the strongest bodkins we offer. Designed in the historically accurate "square" shape for archers who appreciate attention to detail. Not to be used for combat archery.

For these points to fit you must have a 5° point taper on your wood arrow. The Short Bodkin has a diameter of 11/32" and will fit arrows of 11/32" and larger. The larger arrow diameters will have some taper exposed, but the Short Bodkin will be seated properly on the 5° point taper.

Sold by the 3-pack. Weigh 125 grains each.

What is a square bodkin?  A square bodkin is a historical arrow point design characterized by its square or diamond-shaped profile. Variations of the bodkin were used throughout the Middle Ages and appeared in a range of sizes and configurations. Today, square bodkins are popular among traditional archers, reenactors, and collectors interested in historical archery equipment.
