Uukha Irbis 100% Carbon ILF Recurve LimbsItem Number: 816900X
The spirit of traditional archery reaches all parts of the globe, including France where they make the phenomenal Uukha recurve limb. 3Rivers Archery is proud to carry the Irbis Recurve Limbs, one of Uukha's smoothest, fastest limbs.
These are the kind of recurve bow limbs that are a dream to shoot, both on targets or on big game all around the world. Pair it with your favorite ILF riser for a smooth-shooting recurve with super quiet performance and very little vibration. You'll enjoy consistent performance shot-after-shot and day-after-day.
The Irbis is a 100% carbon limb made from Uukha's special patented Evo² Monolith Carbon, offering superb strength, higher torsion resistance, reduced vibrations, PLUS 20% smoother drawing compared to "standard constructed" limbs. There are no core fillers in these limbs... just pure carbon strength and performance. The "Xcurve" profile provides the utmost smoothness and unmatched speeds. Irbis recurve limbs are stable, weather resistant, and waterproof. You can't ask for a more dependable limb on the 3D range or in the tree stand.
Offered in a matt finish with minimum decals. ILF connection only. Irbis ILF carbon recurve limbs are available in Medium (62" on a 19" riser) and Long (64" on a 19" riser) in pull weights of 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, and 60# @ 28" draw (measured on a 19" riser).
Typically with ILF bows the weight will adjust up or down 2# for every 2" of riser length. For example, if a pair of limbs is 40# on a 19" riser, they will be 42# on a 17" riser or 38# on a 21" riser. This is standard for all ILF risers and limbs.
Remember that with a traditional bow the weight will change depending upon what your draw length is. Bow weight will change approximately ±2½ pounds for every inch from a bows rated draw length. So a bow rated 45# @ 28" bow is roughly a 42½# @ 27" or 47½# @ 29". Draw weight is marked at the nearest 5# increment to actual weight, (±2½). This is an industry wide standard.
Bow stringer not included. A bow stringer is recommended for stringing any recurve bow or longbow. Stringing a bow without a bow stringer, or stringing it backwards will void a bow's warranty. Click here to see our Bow Stringers. It is recommended to unstring your bow if you do not plan to be shooting more than week. Store your bow on its side, or hanging vertically from a peg. Never rest the bow on the lower tip for extended periods of time. Never dry fire the bow (shooting without an arrow).
