This Used Tomahawk Legacy Right Hand 66" 53# bow with Black Wood Core limbs in like new condition. Limited supply. First come, first served. No backorders.

The Legacy Series Tomahawk is a reflection of the Tomahawk Bows' humble beginnings. Dale Karch apprenticed with many bowyers, but none had as much impact on his personal bows as Dick Boss of Boss Bows. This 3-piece takedown blends the Boss recurve and the Tomahawk longbow, creating a bow that's: Smooth, Elegant, and Dependable. Universal limb fitting allows for any Tomahawk 3-piece limb to be used on the riser, without the need to have the limbs built specifically to the riser as is common with custom bows.

All Tomahawk Bows® use Gordon's clear Bow-Tuff fiberglass, phenolic tip overlays, and high-performance FastFlight® Flemish twist strings. Available in Right Handed with AMO bow length of 66", and draw weight of 53# at 28" draw.

Includes riser, one set of limbs, string, riser bag, and limb sleeves. , and limited lifetime warranty.

RISER
Futurewood: The Tomahawk Legacy riser is crafted from three pieces of stabilized Futurewood in charcoal and Future Cocobolo, with accent stripes for a look unlike any other. This riser features superior strength, and zero handshock. Overall length of 16" with 10.5" distance between limb bolt holes. Takedown attachment uses an Allen wrench limb bolt and single alignment pin for ease of setup and universal fitting of any other Tomahawk Legacy limb pair. Each shelf is radiused and cut approximately 1/8" past center with a black calf hair rest and plate installed. No grip material included, thus giving the shooter the warm feeling of the wood handle.

LIMBS
Black Wood Core Limbs: Hard Rock Maple core.

Choose from a left or right hand bow (choose based on what hand you Draw the bow string with), and bow weight at a 28" draw length. Remember that with a traditional bow the weight will change depending upon what your draw length is. Bow weight will change approximately ±2½ pounds for every inch from a bows rated draw length. So a bow rated 45# @ 28" bow is roughly a 42½# @ 27" or 47½# @ 29". Draw weight is marked at the nearest 5# increment to actual weight, (2#'s under and 3#'s over). This is an industry wide standard.

A bow stringer is recommended for stringing any recurve bow or longbow. Stringing a bow without a bow stringer, or stringing it backwards will void a bow's warranty. It is recommended to unstring your bow if you do not plan to be shooting more than week. Store your bow on its side, or hanging vertically from a peg. Never rest the bow on the lower tip for extended periods of time. Never dry fire the bow (shooting without an arrow).
