It's not often a treasure like this comes along! For a limited time Bear Archery is offering a limited edition Takedown Recurve bow with B riser and #1 limbs, making it a 60" AMO. Each bow is numbered to reflect its uniqueness and collectibility. Only 250 being made. This is the first of four limited edition bows being made. Purchasing this model gives you first right at future limited edition bows of the same serial number. NOTE: You are not required to buy them.

Bear Archery has selected some rare and beautiful woods to craft this one-of-a-kind bow.

Riser: The Riser is constructed of 3 piece Macassar Ebony with 2 thin strips of Maple on either side of the Bubinga stripe. Radiused, cut-on center shelf for instinctive shooting and easier arrow tuning. The classic Bear medallion is inlaid on one side of the riser, with a compass inlaid on the other. Tapped with Bear 1/4" x 20 quiver inserts.

Limbs: The limbs are equally as elegant, with Macassar Ebony, a Maple core, Bubinga veneers, and clear glass. Reinforced bow tips allow the use of today's modern bow strings. No-tools takedown latch limb system.

String: Fast Flight® Flemish twist bow string. Manufacturer recommended brace height: 7" - 8". Replacement string length is 57".

Bear Archery is providing a custom Takedown bow case with each bow, with a matching number embroidered on it.

These elegant and beautiful bows are perfect for collectors, or for archers who simply enjoy a great Bear bow. There are only 250 of these bows being made, so supplies are extremely limited.

Available in Right or Left Handed in bow weights of 40, 45, 50, and 55#. Please specify.

Please remember, these bows are limited edition. Order now, because they're sure to go fast!

Choose from a left or right hand bow (choose based on what hand you Draw the bow string with), and bow weight at a 28" draw length. Remember that with a traditional bow the weight will change depending upon what your draw length is. Bow weight will change approximately ±2½ pounds for every inch from a bows rated draw length. So a bow rated 45# @ 28" bow is roughly a 42½# @ 27" or 47½# @ 29". Draw weight is marked at the nearest 5# increment to actual weight, (2#'s under and 3#'s over). This is an industry wide standard.

Bow stringer not included. A bow stringer is recommended for stringing any recurve bow or longbow. Stringing a bow without a bow stringer, or stringing it backwards will void a bow's warranty. Click here to see our Bow Stringers. It is recommended to unstring your bow if you do not plan to be shooting more than week. Store your bow on its side, or hanging vertically from a peg. Never rest the bow on the lower tip for extended periods of time. Never dry fire the bow (shooting without an arrow).
