The Kodiak Cub recurve bow kit has been recommended by the Product Finder as introductory archery equipment for kids between the ages of 9 to 11 or 52” to 57” tall. It’s very popular with kids who want a recurve bow just like mom's or dad's. The Kodiak Cub recurve by Bear Archery measures 48" long and is a quality laminated bow offering full working limbs for good arrow power. The pull weight is 30# at a 24" draw length.

RISER: Handcrafted from green laminated hard rock maple with a cut-to-center radiused shelf.Right hand.

LIMBS: Limbs are Maple core for performance, covered with green fiberglass.
STRING: Dacron string included.
QUIVER: Made from black leatherette-vinyl with belt loop attachment. Requires a belt to use, not included. Perfect for youngsters just getting started in youth archery. Comfortably holds 6 youth arrows. Measures approximately 16" deep. Fits right and left handed archers. Made in the USA.
ARROWS: Six pack of 1200 Spine PSE Razorback Carbon Youth Arrows. Razorback carbon arrows work best with recurve bows. Fletched with 2¼" shield cut feathers, one white cock feather and two red hen feathers and come with 70 grain glue-in NIBB arrow points and nocks already installed.

Please note: A bow stringer is recommended for stringing all bows. Stringing a bow without a bow stringer, or stringing it backwards will void a bow's warranty. It is recommended to unstring your bow if you do not plan to be shooting more than one week. Store your bow on its side or hang vertically from a peg. Never prop the bow on the lower tip for extended periods of time. Never dry fire the bow (shooting without an arrow).
