3Rivers Tapered Saxton Elite Arrows represent a time honored spirit of archery. A classic look consisting of a tapered shaft for speed and clearance. These arrows signify the importance of well built quality and expert craftsmanship with an elegant look. In the words of Saxton Pope "The flight of the arrow is symbolic of life itself."
Each arrow is made using our 11/32" diameter Port Orford Cedar shafts with a 10" taper at the nock end. Individually hand-spined and straightened to be spine matched within 6 pounds and weight matched to 10 grains per set. The extra attention to these significant characteristics ensures that you'll receive accurate shooting arrows you can count on, whether it's competing on the range or in the field hunting.
The shaft for each arrow is stained a golden oak color with a dark walnut cap and sealed with a durable polyurethane finish for longevity. The complimenting crest is done by hand for a "true" custom look and feel. Three fletched with Trueflight feathers consisting of one brown barred cock feather and two solid yellow hen feathers in a 5" shield cut left wing and accented with a yellow 5/16" Bohning classic nock.
Available in the following spines: 40-45, 45-50, 50-55, 55-60, and 60-65#. Sold full length at approximately 32" and need to be cut and tapered, then points installed or broadheads mounted to be ready for shooting. Please remember, when having points or broadheads installed they must be purchased separately.

Cut and Taper Arrows to Length: Have your wood arrows cut to length and a 5° point taper. The length is measured from the throat of the nock to the back of the point taper. Minimum length is 26".
Mount Field Points: Choose this option to have our experts install your Target/Field Point on your arrows. Points sold separately. Please Note: If you select this service without selectingthe "Cut to Length" service, your shafts will be cut to even length (if any variance between arrows), and the point taper applied. Please Note: We use a heat reversible glue to mount field points, so they may be changed later if you choose.
