The Legacy Series Tomahawk is a reflection of the Tomahawk Bows' humble beginnings. Dale Karch apprenticed with many bowyers, but none had as much impact on his personal bows as Dick Boss of Boss Bows. This 3-piece takedown blends the Boss recurve and the Tomahawk longbow, creating a bow that's: Smooth, Elegant, and Dependable. Universal limb fitting allows for any Tomahawk 3-piece limb to be used on the riser, without the need to have the limbs built specifically to the riser as is common with custom bows.

All Tomahawk Bows® use Gordon's clear Bow-Tuff fiberglass, phenolic tip overlays, and high-performance FastFlight® Flemish twist strings. Choose right or left handed in your preferred AMO bow length (62", 64", or 66") and draw weight (40-70# in 5# increments) at 28" draw. Special orders encouraged. Call our tech line at 260-587-9501 to work with a Longbow Expert on matching you with the "perfect" Tomahawk Longbow.

Every Tomahawk includes one riser, a pair of limbs, 3-piece bow case, Selway longbow stringer, and limited lifetime warranty.

Futurewood: The Tomahawk Legacy riser is crafted from three pieces of stabilized Futurewood in charcoal and Future Cocobolo, with accent stripes for a look unlike any other. This riser features superior strength, and zero handshock. Overall length of 16" with 10.5" distance between limb bolt holes. Takedown attachment uses an Allen wrench limb bolt and single alignment pin for ease of setup and universal fitting of any other Tomahawk Legacy limb pair. Each shelf is radiused and cut approximately 1/8" past center with a black calf hair rest and plate installed. No grip material included, thus giving the shooter the warm feeling of the wood handle.

The Boss Limbs: Exclusive to the Legacy Series, in honor of the man who inspired Dale Karch on his bowyer path. A stunning beauty that looks just as good on the wall as it does deep in the woods stalking the most elusive of game. Made with flat-grain Brazilian Cherry "Jutoba" with Hard Rock Maple core.

Woodland Hunter Limbs: A true hunter in its own right. Blends into its surroundings to be a natural predator ready for the shot of a lifetime. Made with flat-grain Woodland Camo Super Action Wood over hard Rock Maple Core.

Black Foam Core Limbs: Foam Core Limbs offer smooth drawing, fast speeds, stability, and solid performance. Weather conditions have zero effect on limb performance. Stabil-Kore™ is a light weight core material which gives bow limbs lateral and torsion rigidity. Stabil-Kore™ is a proprietary composite that can be used as an alternative to carbon to increase efficiency and add multi-directional attributes, reinforce limbs, increasing cast, and eliminating nearly all lateral twisting for better in-line recovery and more energy down range.

Customize your Tomahawk Legacy Series Longbow with unique and functional Antler Limb Bolts (order 2" length). Requires the Limb Bolt Adapters also.

Choose from a left or right hand bow (choose based on what hand you Draw the bow string with), and bow weight at a 28" draw length. Remember that with a traditional bow the weight will change depending upon what your draw length is. Bow weight will change approximately ±2½ pounds for every inch from a bows rated draw length. So a bow rated 45# @ 28" bow is roughly a 42½# @ 27" or 47½# @ 29". Draw weight is marked at the nearest 5# increment to actual weight, (2#'s under and 3#'s over). This is an industry wide standard.

A bow stringer is recommended for stringing any recurve bow or longbow. Stringing a bow without a bow stringer, or stringing it backwards will void a bow's warranty. It is recommended to unstring your bow if you do not plan to be shooting more than week. Store your bow on its side, or hanging vertically from a peg. Never rest the bow on the lower tip for extended periods of time. Never dry fire the bow (shooting without an arrow).
