In Medieval days, going to war meant going big. Both bows and arrows were built heavy and strong to deliver killing blows through steel armor and shields.

These ½" diameter Poplar arrows are replicas of the same arrows found on board the historic Mary Rose shipwreck. The nock end is tapered into what was historically known as a bobtail taper. The self nocks have horn inserts, and the shafts are fletched with approximately 5-½" Traditional cut white feathers wrapped with black thread. Finally they are tipped with a heavy bodkin point of approximately 400 grains.

If you would like the complete Medieval experience, pair these arrows with our Bamboo Backed English War Bow. Great for reenactments or Medieval Archery competitions.

Measures approximately 33" in length from valley of the nock to the back of the point. Recommended for Heavy War Bows 80# and up. Sold by the 3 pack.
