Douglas Fir is a great combination of the sturdiness of hardwoods (without the extreme heavyweight) and the workability of softwoods. These wood shafts are high quality straight grained Douglas Fir from the Western Coast of the United States. Normally heavier and stronger than Port Orford Cedar. Easy to hand straighten and remain straight. Have a smooth burnished finish.

Tapered shafts allow for faster shot recovery and less wind drag for improved accuracy and deeper penetration.

All shafts are 23/64" diameter at point end and feature a 10" nock taper to 5/16". Every dozen is hand spine to 5# and weight matched to 20 grain groups. Stock length is approximately 32" long uncut. Sold by the dozens only.

Available in the following spines: LIMITED QUANTITIES
  • 23/64": 55-60# and 60-65#.
  • 11/32": 50-55#, 55-60#, 60-65#, 65-70#, 70-75#, 75-80#, and 80-85#.
