I used this product for target shooting and practice and was actually disappointed, I spent a lot of money on these arrows I had 3 Rivers cut and taper the shaft and install my broad heads for me, needless to say I won't be doing that again, these arrows were not properly constructed nearly all my points have popped off from a relatively open target, and after a few weeks of light target practicing the fletchings are falling off as well. I am still hoping this was a one time mistake on 3 Rivers part and will not happen again.

      Out of the box, 7 arrows were OK (but not good by any measure), while 5 were crooked as a dog's hind leg. I was very disappointed, considering what I paid for 12 arrows (over $[$]). The fletching and nocks were fine, but there was glue mess on the points.

        These were the finest arrows I have purchased in years ,Ive had other so called arrow builders make me arrows but these are almost to nice to use but thats what there for. You staff installed points as I requested and inclued all the other pieces I had ordered and they arrived sooner than I have recieved orders from other companys in my state or the ones closest that offer quick service.         4 of the 6 target arrows have lost fletching. The glue is not holding the fletching on. The construction of the arrow itself is fine however it renders itself useless without fletching.

          I have been using the 3 Rivers Hunter arrow, thought I'd try the Classic. I really like the Classic look and more important the arrow flight is very consistent. For me it is worth the extra money to have such a good looking and performing arrow as I do not build my own. Would have rated 5 Stars, but 3/12 arrows arrived with one fletching nearly off and had a fletch pop off while shooting. Inadequate glue process. Need to work on that aspect of the product. The Classics mix in well with the Hunters for practice, spines seem pretty consistent between products. Classics fly a bit better to me and are a nice treat for those of us that do not build our own arrows.

            I ordered these arrows because I shoot a Martin 45# one piece recurve and wanted to keep the traditional look. I was warned by several people to go with carbon because wood arrows are too fragile. Well these arrows perform great and are solid. They even impressed the wood arrow doubters. I'm already saving up for more.

            Service and delivery comments:

            The 3 Rivers Team was great. I forgot to add the cutting and field points when I bought and they responded to my email right away and made the adjustments before shipping. 3 Rivers is great!

              For the past 15 years I have made my own arrows I have now retired - started an archery school - got a lung desease - I do not have time to make My own arrows any more. Last year I had the chance to represent Canada at the World 3-D shoot in Aurstia . I am trying for the National team again this in France. To win a seat on the team I must win three compitions - I took six clasic arrows to the Canadian National indoor Shoot in Fort St. John I can't beleave that they shot betten than my home made ones . I won first planc and I plan to use them at the Canadian Nationals in Vernon B.C. this summer. Hopefully the Three Rivers will sponser me for the Worlds in France nest year

              i have a 50# 66" greatplains longbow,so i ordered the 50-55 spine with 135 grain simmmons broadheads,they fly like my carbons ,my arrows weigh 517 grains with points ,cant say enough about these... excellent product
