These arrows are great! I had been using wood previously, but the accuracy of these arrows is so much better. They fly fast and true. Quality is great. I even crest them and many of the guys I shoot 3D with think they are wood until they pull them out. And they are tough, they take alot more than the wood!

Getting back to the recurve and had used aluminum last time with limited results. The consistency and narrower diameter of these shafts make them forgiving. The finish is dull enough to glue feathers to with little prep work and the carbons take the hard hits better.

Worth every penny.

Are they expensive? Yes! Are they worth the added expense? Yes! These arrow shafts can be counted on to be beautiful, consistent, and tough as nails. I have used them for hunting, target shooting and stump shooting. I will recommend one thing; Buy carbon collars for these shafts. With the carbon collars you can shoot into a solid concrete wall and most of the time your arrow will survive the hit. That is saying something! I recommend these all day long.

I have wondered when Three Rivers would start carring these Gold Tips. They have a great traditional look and are very popular with traditional hunters. Although I shoot Traditional Only shafts now I have had a lot of experience with the Gold Tip and found them to be a fine shaft. They have ah finish that looks very close ta wood and have fooled more than ah few folks.
Fletched up with some turkey or True Flight Traditional feathers and maybe a yellow barred odd feather they really look sweet. If I'm out ah Traditional Only 500s I can cut the 35/55 Gold Tips to the same lenght and shoot away as they are spined the same or so close I cant tell the difference. They should be ah good seller.
