Bird hunting Flu Flus

The flu flus flew straight and had plenty of punch when trying to hit pheasants on the wing. They held their velocity for twenty plus yards and were easy to retrieve!

Satisfactory but not perfect

I have limited space in backyard so I can practice with these flu-flus with little risk of sailing or richocheting one over the fence. The only flaw I've found is that every arrow had a feather come unglued or loose within the first dozen or so shots. I reglued the feathers and added a wrap of sewing thread and haven't had any further problems.

I had never used a flu flu before. So, this was a new experience. The arrows are sturdy and straight. I like the higher visibility on the way to the target and when the arrows are in the target. This allows for easier corrections for my aim. The sound a flu flu makes is just plain fun to hear.

I practice target shooting to get consistent so I may go hunting soon. Very accurate and sound beautiful during flight. I have already Robin Hood an arrow. It made me a little upset but estatic at the same time because of the accuracy. Thanks 3Rivers!

I was nervous ordering wood shafts over carbon because of people telling me that they break easy. Well so far they are wrong! These Flu-Flu's are the best I've owned so far.The service I had done on them by 3-Rivers was wonderful. I needed no glue or anything! I beat my friend at a 3D course last week against his high end Mathews compound! Thanks to the durability and accuracy of these arrows. Plus I love the sound they make! So overall I am very pleased and Its money well spent. I think any true traditional archer would appreciate these Flu-Flu's.

I purchased two sets of these arrows, one weighted 50-55 and the other 55-60. I shoot a northern mist longbow at 56# draw weight and both these arrows fly perfect. Put some rubber weighted flat heads on the end and used them the first time on some aerial shooting. Great arrows that fly true and very durable, looking forward to using them on a pheasant hunt this september!!

Flu Flus must slow down quickly otherwise it defeats the purpose of them,and the 3Rivers Archery Flu Flus do just that.The nocks would be best served on a double served string,but,are suitable.The feching is perfect!The shaft is staight and the cresting is great except for on one of the five remaining arrows and it really only slightly damaged.Since they are still going strong,give them a try.

Well, I got these arrows for my recurve.

I've waited a couple of weeks, and after some use, all but 2 have broken.

I have been shooting at hay bales, and today decided to shoot at a milk jug. Bad idea.

After firing my arrows, I went to get them, and found many of them broken.

I will not be ordering these again.

I ordered these for my birthday after finding my Grandfathers old Longbow, and they are wonderful. However even more incredible are the people at 3Rivers who have amazing customer service. I purchased these, and had them cut to 29 1/2" , tappered, and a set of MA-2 Broadheads installed, but forgot to specify that I prefered them mounted vertical and inline with the string and nock. I called the day after, and the person I talked to personally made sure that they were noted to be assembled as such. My hat is off to you sir. Now to the review of the arrows... They are excellent with only a few minor drawbacks. The first uppon opening the box One was a much darker color than the other 5 almost as if it was treated with the wrong stain, personally it didnt really matter to me since they all match my longbow quite well (except the neon-yellow feathers). The second thing I noticed was the Flu-flu feathers are a bit too close to the nock for my likeing, they crowd my fingers when drawing and nocking, especially with my bow glove on. The only other downside(even though i knew of this before purchasing) was that flu-flus are loud... they have a fluttering buzz as they whisk away from you, thus steering me away from hunting with these unless its small game. These 3 things were the only downfalls that I have encountered. earning a 4/5 in my regards.
