A:
No, the uni bushings allow you to use a nock that is smaller than the inside diameter of the shaft. The Arrow Dynamics shafts are already too small at the nock end to allow for any of the lighted nocks.

I would like to add some weight to these arrows, and i was wonsering if any brass insert will fit or if Arrow Dynamics makes a brass insert for these arrows. I shoot the Trad Lites if that makes any difference.

Hi there,
I am shooting an american flat bow, 30# @28, my draw length is between 29.5 and 30in., what would be the right spine and length of the arrow to be tuned with my bow?
I'll be shooting target for the moment, so what would be the right point to use (i was thinking 100gr.)? What kind of point do you suggest me?
Do this arrows come with a nock?
.... and finally, do you ship to the uk?

A:
I would recommend going with wood shafts leaving them full length with 125 grain point. If you wish to use the arrow dynamics then you would need the trad lite's with a 125 grain point.

is there an easy way to add weight to those shafts ?
i'd like to have a total arrow weight of roughly 600grs with a 150gr broadhead.

A:
The only extra weight option for these arrows is the 100 grain brass inserts. With more weight on the front of the arrow the weaker spine the arrow will become.

Q:
Since these are tapered shafts and appear to taper continuously from the point end to the nock end, When cutting these shafts down to length which end do you cut from--seems like if you cut too far from either end you might have a problem with nock or insert fit??

A:
Arrow Dynamics shafts are not a complete continuous taper. The front 8 or 9 inches of the shaft is parallel leaving it such that the shaft can be cut to length without effecting how the insert will fit internally or externally. The nock end cannot be cut because the that end is tapered internally and will effect the fit of the nock if it is cut.

According to the manufacturer, the Trad Lite are .375" and the Traditional are .275".
As these are tapered shafts, the deflection numbers above are not as big of a concern. This is the same for any tapered shaft. The taper design has the arrow recover faster from the shot than a standard parallel arrow.
