Yes, we can mount any of the glue on broadheads that we carry. Just choose your broadhead and add it to your cart with the MTB.

  • Q:

Hi, interested in getting a dozen of these set up to bust bunnies w/my recurve. Proper arrow selection/tip matching is still a bit of a mystery to me im still pretty new to archery.

Heres what I know: I have a 35lb pse blackhawk and on a cheap walmart arrow I measure 29.5" from string to edge of bow fully drawn w/o the 1"-2" extra arrow lentgh added on. I want to shoot bunny busters or something similar. What size arrow (spine and length) should I select? What size buster? will I need to taper the shaft to accept it? Can u do all the work for me haha?

You will want most likely 50-55# arrows cut to 31". That will need the 11/32" Bunny Busters. The shafts do not need to be tapered to use the Bunny Busters. http://www.3riversarchery.com/product.asp?i=H511X

You would only need to buy the bunny busters, arrows, and the cut and taper services above and we would do all the hard work. Still would have to mount the points, but that is as easy as pushing them on the end of the arrows.

  • Q:

Hi my question is can these specific arrows be used in your Heavy Weight Bamboo Backed Warbow and if not what arrows would you recomend for this bow? And for that bow and whatever type of arrows you recomend would you recomend a certain type of broadhead or would simple glue-on 3-blade broadheads work fine?

      A:

It will all depend on draw weight, arrow length and point weight to figure the correct spine needed for a specific bow and arrow combination. Most 2-3 blade glue on broadheads will work just fine, 2 blade heads will get you good penetration while a 3 blade will get you better blood trails.

  • Q:

Is there a reason to not shoot a higher spine than recommended? For example if you are shooting a longbow thats 60# at 28",what would be the recommended spline and why wouldn't you want anything with a heavier one? Or is price the real factor most of the time?

      A:

The spine is the defection of the shaft and depending on the draw weight, arrow length and point weight do you figure out what spine weight you would need. For a modern fiberglass backed long bow with a shelf at 60#'s I would go with 65-70 for spine weight and that's cutting the shaft to 29 - 29 1/2 inches and using 100-160 grain points.

      A:

That will depend on the spine that you order. Through 60-65 they will be 11/32. Anything higher will be 23/64.

  • Q:

What is the approximate shaft grains per inch (GPI) measurement of the 11/32 and the 23/64 shafts? I realize it varies due to the organic nature of wood, however I just need an approximate or average value to determine proper arrow tuning using Stu Miller's Dynamic Spine Calculator. Thanks!

It really does vary from shaft to shaft. You could have as much as a 100gr spread. I wish I could be of more help.
