Q:
I am shooting Dalaa medium recurve foam limbs now on a 17" riser comfortably with no stacking noticed at my 28.75" draw (60" bow). I would like to put the limbs on a 15" DX5 riser (58" bow)but I am worried about stacking. What are the disadvantages to this set-up at my draw length? I'm wanting a shorter recurve for hunting but really like the longbow style grip and riser.
Thanks in advance for your time.

A:
If you have the Foam Core Limbs you should not experience any stacking with your draw length on the 15'' Riser. The Foam Core limbs are very smooth.

Q:
Does the Dalaa 21" ILF option comes with native ILF limb pockets, or do we need to use ILF bushings on the limb attachments?
Also, can I request to have a stainless steel bushing installed in the stab hole below the grip?
Asked on 5/1/2012 by Anonymous

1 answer
A:
The riser and the limbs are both converted to ILF when the order is placed. The stabilizer hole is machined out of the riser; there is no bushing.

Q:
you're saying that 17" is designed for hunting and 21"- for target shooting. So, what is the main motive in the 15"? What was it designed for and who should consider it?
Also, is DX5-15" preferred with longbow limbs or there also is some advantage in the recurves?
Asked on 4/21/2012 by George from Brooklyn

A:
The 15'' is a longbow riser like all longbow riser they are shorter. I would say there's any advantage to shooting a recurve over a longbow. Its what the shooter likes.

Q:
Can standard hunting sights (multi pin, like are utilized on compounds) be mounted on the DAS riser? Are there also drilled holes on the side for hunting quivers? Thanks much!
Asked on 3/2/2012 by Anonymous

1 answer
A:
Yes, the DAS risers are tapped for ATA accessory (mounting sights and quivers) inserts. You can use any sights or bow quiver that uses the ATA Accessory mount (also known as AMO sight inserts).

Q:
Is it safe to assume that the limb pad angles on the new 15" riser are the same as the 17"?
Asked on 1/6/2012 by Dan from Nevada
Know the answer? Answer this question
1 answer
A:
No, the DX5 riser is designed separate of the Dalaa riser so the DX5 riser is slightly more on the limb pad angle.
