That will give you the smoothest transition in and out of the target. Once you remove the nock you would install the collar and then press the nock back in. I used the arrow builder that you have, but I'm not sure about weight tubes, or nock/carbon collars or anything to do with that. Asked on 9/17/2011 by Jesse Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: For pheasant hunting you will want the arrows done in a 4 fletch with Flu-Flu feathers. Have the arrows cut 1 inch longer than your draw length and the original inserts mounted into the shafts. You will then need a good small game head or broadhead (depends if your using a dog). Answer this question 1 answer A: Most of the time you just trim from the point end, but if your looking for the most precession arrow you will pull out the nock and take a little off to square it up and then cut the rest from the point end.
