We do offer them any other way. The one thing you can do is use a rag with acetone and wipe it off.

Q:
Can ICS Bowhunter shafts be ordered with Flu Flu fletch? From what I can find, 3 Rivers only offers them in wood shaft. I checked arrow whiz, but no Flu Flu offered regardless of shaft selected.

A:
Normally you would want to shoot something closer to a 600 deflection, but with these you would want the 500's and leave them full length. You wills till need to play with the point weight to get the best arrow flight. Give us a call at 1-866-587-9501 for more specific information.

Q:
As the Beman ICS Bowhunter 500 shafts use CB inserts (8/32), can these shafts use 5/16 points or do I need to use 9/32 points?

A:
You will want to use a 5/16 point with these arrows. The outside diameter is 5/16. That will give you the smoothest transition in and out of the target.
Answered on 11/3/2011 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
A:
I'm using 5/16 points and standard glue on broadheads and Judos with steel adapters.

Q:
If I have my own nock collars, would I be able to take out the nocks to install them or would taking them out destroy the shaft?
Asked on 9/18/2011 by Anonymous

1 answer
A:
The nocks on these shafts pull right out from the back. Once you remove the nock you would install the collar and then press the nock back in.

Q:
I'm wanting to buy a dozen of these for pheasant hunting and I'm not sure what kind of inserts I need. I used the arrow builder that you have, but I'm not sure about weight tubes, or nock/carbon collars or anything to do with that. Could you make some suggestions for this style of hunting or point me in the right direction?
I'm using a 50# 60" LH Ragim Impala Takedown recurve bow. My draw length is 29.5".
Thank you!

Q:
when cutting down shafts to size which end do you recommend cutting, point or nock?

A:
Most of the time you just trim from the point end, but if your looking for the most precession arrow you will pull out the nock and take a little off to square it up and then cut the rest from the point end.
