Q:
I just acquired a 52" vintage Red Wing Hunter that has 2 inserts in the front of the riser. Will this quiver work for me?

I don't believe it will work on a bow that is not a 3 pc. takedown.
Those inserts are likely for one of the proprietary bow companies' quiver mounting systems, or some type of sights. It could possibly be made to work if the inserts are actually the right size for standard limb bolts.
Nice bow by the way.
Good luck.

A:
That will depend on what inserts they are. This particular quiver is made to be used with a 3 piece take down. If you can let us know if they are the sight bushing or the Bear quiver bushings we can let you know which quivers will work.

I have a buddy that ran into this problem. It's a suprisingly simple fix. We made a set of tan linen micarta discs (roughly 1/2 inch deep) to fit in the recess on the bow limbs, then drilled/slotted the outer area to mimic the original mount. The antler knob holds the mount cleanly, and looks prety good. I will try to get a pic or two if you are interested. I have a few small scraps of the micarta left. If you can't find another solution, I'm sure we can fabricate something to get ya shooting.

We do not have any longer brackets to avoid hitting the antler bolts.

Q:
How are the wires of the quiver secured/tightened to the mounts on the limb bolts. Once inserted in the hole or groove, are they simply tightened by hand via the dial/knob? I want to remove the quiver once I get into the tree stand and put it back on before I get out of the tree. Is the quiver designed to handle that sort of operation?

A:
They are hand tightened using the dial knobs. Very easy on the quick detach and mounting just as you are planning to use it. Should be a good fit for your needs.

A:
They slide right into the pre designed holes and tighten with a circular knob. Works perfectly.

The shortest riser that this quiver will work on is about 7.5" to 8". You should be fine with that length.

Q:
Can you get this quiver with the Great Northern 2 trees logo or only with 2 guys drawing their bows in it? Does the one with the 2 men drawing bows on it say "3 rivers" on it?

A:
It only comes with the two archers on it. If you look on the right hand side of your string there is another version that has Fred Eichler. Those are the only two designs that we have for this quiver.
