  • Q:

The arrow shelf on this bow is it the same size as the one on super kodiak or narrower? since the design of the riser seems to be very similar. I understand the super Kodiak has a fairly generous shelf but i rather a narrower shelf like the one on the 59 Kodiak

I see the limbs come in the Dymond wood version and bubinga version. Other than the look is there any difference in power (same poundage) and smoothness?

You would just need to place an order for the limbs at the poundage you want.

      A:

I have had my Bear Takedown Supreme (55#, purchased new) for only about 8
months but have not noticed any problems yet. I did a lot of research
before I bought mine and did not see any comments saying this was an issue.
I am thinking about buying a spare latch just in case I ever have a problem
      during a hunting season.

  • Q:

what would you reccomend i have a 28.2 inch draw length and want a 55 pound bow what length bow is best for me i dont mind any combo of a and b riser and 1 and 3 limb

      A:

The rule that I use is the longer the bow or limbs the smoother shooting it will be. Therefore you could use a A riser with #3 limbs and have a fairly smooth bow but if lenght is no concern to you I still like an B riser with #3 limbs it will be very smooth but not quite as fast as the shorter bow.
