The best thing that I have done to quiet any recurve is to install calf hair string grove silencers and then a puff ball silencer like the Navaho wool in the string. using these two items will quiet even the nosiest recurve.

A:
I found that different strings seem to change the noise of my predator. My slower strings are the quietest to my ears. Plus tuning the bow well takes a lot of vibration, and noise, out of a shot. All in all I find my predator relatively quiet.

I show that I have risers in stock. It must be the limbs that are out of stock. We normally can get items from the manufacturer in a month. if you would like to place the order we will get the bow to you as soon as possible.

What you will want to do is get the calf hair rest material and cut the rest out to the shape of the shelf.

Q:
Is the Velocity Riser lighter than the hunter riser? I just bought a Predator Hunter and it seems to be a very nice bow, just a little heavy. Will the hunter limbs fit on the Velocity Riser?
Thank you

All of the limbs are interchangeable.
The Velocity riser is smaller, but it has about the same weight as the wooden handles.
