Jacob Moyer has begun the Traditional Journey thanks to his grandfather and a certain well-known hunting personality. Jacob tells us: "So far I shot 6 chipmunks with my recurve. The Person Who inspired me most is my grandfather. Also Tred Barta. I would really like to met him one day. I like doing It the hard way, the Barta way and I'm sticking to it." Sounds like the future of traditional bowhunting is in good hands with guys like Jacob taking up the stick-n-string challenge!

Jacob Moyer is quickly becoming a Chipmunk Champ! Jacob tells us the story about his latest trophy: "I shot this Pope and Young chipmunk while I was hunting for groundhog. It was starting to get dark so when I saw this chipmunk running around I took the shot and it was perfect. The shot was about 8 to 10 yards away. Tred Barta if your looking at this picture, I'm keeping the tradition going."

Richard Johnston tells us: "I am truly enjoying my Tomahawk Bow. I have not had time to hunt any big game yet. I have had some time to kill a couple of ground squirrels near my house. I shot the first rodent at 20 yards and the second one at about 15 yards the next day. I never imagined I'd be able to hit them with a longbow. Hitting your mark with a traditional bow is more fun than using anything else."
