Patrick Meitin was hunting squirrels, when he found this brute instead! Patrick tells us: "Because I had a bear tag I was able to run two miles to my truck, traded out for broadheads, and return. Found him a couple hours later, slipped to 22 yards in the thick brush, and took him with a single arrow."

Glen sends us this picture of a recent black bear harvest. Ben tells us: "I ordered my Tomahawk Thunderstorm longbow in the spring of 2004. Great bow, very pleased with it. I shot this bear in Allagash, Maine using my 50# Tomahawk longbow, wooden shaft, and 2 blade Zwickey broadhead. This was my first big game with my Tomahawk." Congratulations, Glen!

Jim sends us this picture of a recent tradtional harvest. Jim says: "The bear only went 14 yards. My first bear out of 8 with Traditional equipment. Hanging up my Compound and going back to the stick bow sure brought back a lot of good memories. And the thrill of taking an animal with the longbow sure put the thrill back into hunting for me. I'm 57 years old, and going into the woods with the longbow this fall was just as exciting as if it was my first hunt. Maybe next year I'll have my dream bow - the Tomahawk Diamond series Woodland Hunter."
