2007Nathan Andersohn completes his Grand Slam with this impressive Desert Sheep! To clarify, a Grand Slam is when a hunter harvests a Bighorn Sheep, a Dall Sheep, a Stone Sheep and a Desert Sheep. It is a great accomplishment for a traditional bowhunter to harvest all of these animals. They are extremely wary and elusive prey. Nathan tells us: "My long awaited hunt for Desert Sheep was a wonderful success. I was hunting with Ovis on Carmen Island near Loreto, Mexico. On the 4th day of the hunt my guide Pedro and I closed the gap as the ram moved down the ridge. He was passing by us at 15 feet when I released the arrow from my longbow. While it sounds easy it was a tough hunt, and I doubted that I would ever be able to stalk within range of one of the keen eyed rams." Congratulations on your amazing success, Nathan!
