It is a great accomplishment for a traditional bowhunter to harvest all of these animals. They are extremely wary and elusive prey. Nathan tells us: "My long awaited hunt for Desert Sheep was a wonderful success. I was hunting with Ovis on Carmen Island near Loreto, Mexico. On the 4th day of the hunt my guide Pedro and I closed the gap as the ram moved down the ridge. He was passing by us at 15 feet when I released the arrow from my longbow.
