2010Denny Sturgis' New Zealand adventures resulted in this nice red stag harvest. Brought to New Zealand from England during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the red stag is one of the largest deer species. Its usual habitat includes Europe, North Africa, and Asia. It has also been introduce in Australia and Argentina, as well as New Zealand. These are highly prized trophies, with the average rack size being 12 points. Well done, Denny!
