Hawkwood's success on the battlefield was due mainly to his reliance on the English Longbow, a fast, powerful, and efficient weapon unequalled in its time. Now 3Rivers Archery has recreated this mighty weapon, which brought low both commoner and king. Sleek, powerful, and elegant, the Hawkwood Longbow is built using strong Red Oak, with a sturdy Hickory backing. 72 inches from tip to tip, this bow features genuine horn nocks, and dual arrow strike plates, making the bow suitable for right or left handed shooters. Shooting the Hawkwood Longbow is like holding history in your hand! Suitable for hunting, target shooting, or SCA/Renaissance events. Authentic horn tips vary in design.
