It's just what I wanted; classic looks w a shelf for a finger shooter.

Mine is marked 45/52. It draws 40 at 28. The string that came w it is 47 inches long and braces it at 6 inches. The large 4 inch loops are unusual, but work great.

Very reflexed when unstrung. Cord stringers are hard to use, bow tends to torque. Modified step through shown in brochure works much better, and is easy when you get the hang of it.

Mine is smooth, fast, quiet, and shoots where I look. Didn't need any adjusting, has same POI/POA as my old Bear and new Martin trad bows. 1916/2016 aluminum, 600/500 carbon arrows flew great. Even some old #7 Micro-Flite fiberglass arrows I have. About 160 fps w 500g arrows, drawn 28 inches w fingers. A fantastic deal for the price!

Excellent for 3d and roving. The draw is very smooth with only slight hand shock.Has excellent tiller and is very accurate. What's not so great is the complete lack of finish work on the nocks. I had to re-serve the string after about 50 shots. The 2 cent shoe sting that attaches the 50 cent leather grip is pathetic. For the price I paid,I expected more pride in workmanship. Had I been able to examine this bow in a shop,I would have passed it up.

Comments about Khan Korean Traditional Horse Bow:

I have been shooting Western Style Longbows and Recurves since I was a kid. I am 40 and this is my first Asiatic Styled Horse Bow. When it arrived, I was a little concerned about the size and weight. I read the dimensions and reviews and I was still surprised. I was concerned that what felt like a toy could be used for hunting and serious target archery. My concern was unfounded. I am in love with this bow. The draw is so smooth I wish I would have gotten a higher poundage. The bow stores some serious energy in the pronounced recurve. It shoots every bit as fast and true as my Red Wing Hunter. The bow feels like an extension of your arm. It's small and lightweight characteristics makes it ideal for deep woods stalking. I've only had the bow for less than a week so I cannot attest to it's durability-but it seems very well made. My only complaint is the leather handle. It is not cut symmetrically to join in the middle of the grip. Also it is tied together with what looks like shoestring. I made my own with suede leather from a Craft store. Overall I am very pleased. 3Rivers customer service staff answered all of my questions prior to order and were very helpful. I am already looking at other horse bows to add to my collection. Thank You.

This is a really nice bow. However because of a recent partial amputation of my left foot it was impossible for me to string the bow because the way you have to string it. You can not use a bow stringer on it.

Comments about Khan Korean Traditional Horse Bow:

First, let me describe my buying experience with 3riversarchery...
        Very professional and kind people!
Bow arrived damaged beyond repair - unfortunately it didn't survive USPS medieval handlers who most likely used to haul less delicate weapons...
Upper limb was cracked from side impact including core and deep damage to a glass outer layers on both sides. Someone hated an oversized shipping box which appeared to be empty...
3rivers replaced bow without hesitations and stood by their reputation as being one of the best online archery shops...
Bow is very light, but powerful (I ordered #50) and projects 385gr arrows fast and true. Some difficult to string it, but not impossible if you use old step through technique. When I was a kid we din't know any other ways...
Craftsmanship is a little disappointing, but I must've been spoiled by more expensive bows. For the price - it is a fine bow, very fun to shoot, needs minor work (tip overlays and string grooves are rough, handle wrap is loose and too thin). It is a very compact, very light, very powerful for it size and affordable.
I would recommend it to any archer - novice to expert. Thank you 3rivers for a great experience. I removed one star only because of rough finish, not performance.

Comments about Khan Korean Traditional Horse Bow:

I got this bow as a gift for my hunting mate. He is totally self sufficient so has no money. I found the cheapest bow that would be great for hunting deer.

He is in love with the bow and has become deadly accurate. It is looks like a toy but is anything but.

Looks as fast as a compound. Very fast and hard hitting. Also no noise except the arrow hitting the butt.

We are going hunting for a week in the river flats of the central North Island. I see no reason we won't harvest some red and sika deer.

          Weighs nothing

Comments about Khan Korean Traditional Horse Bow:

This little bow has put a lot of excitement back into my archery practice! I don't recall ever seeing arrows sizzle in flight like I have from this bow. The velocity is amazing for a mere 45 pounder. However, due to is short overall length, you need to aim straight or your arrows will wind up all over the place. Once I got used to it, I didn't want to put it down. Mind your form and aim carefully and you will be richly rewarded.

Comments about Khan Korean Traditional Horse Bow:

İ purchased my Kaya Khan from a local shop four-five months ago, at 50 lbs as it was the highest weight available at the buying moment.
İt looks small, thin and it is very light.
At the beginning you may have difficulties in stringing if you are not used to shoot oriental bows.
Althought it looks like a toy, it shoots very fast and it is seriously accurate to shoot to the targets even farther than 100 meters.

Smooth draw, shoots fast, accurate, and easy to get used to as someone returning to archery. Perfect size for hunting deer in the thick Pacific Northwest brush. Hopefully will test it out in the field this fall. Stringing it is a little tricky, but not too bad once you get the hang of it.

Comments about Khan Korean Traditional Horse Bow:

This bow is a lot of fun. I actually purchased the korean traditional bow first, because I practice a korean martial art. Once I tried and loved that bow, I noticed that the Kahn bow is very similar and made by the same manufacturer, but with a key difference: It has a small arrow shelf cut partway to center. This makes it feel significantly more "point and shoot" than the korean bow. In fact, it is remarkably easy to aim. My archery buddies were all surprised by how almost magically easy it is to hit the mark with it. These bows are incredibly light and surprisingly fast. (That's why I added the tag "survival kit" to this review: If you were going somewhere remote , say in a small plane or something, it weighs nothing and it's small. You'd be really happy to have this and a couple arrows if you got stuck somewhere and needed to hunt- "Survivorman" would have been super stoked to have one of these!) The draw is super smooth and it's very quiet. I use mine all the time. I really can't think of much wrong with it, but you have to be very careful not to damage the tips. They seem like they might be vulnerable to damage if you were to apply unusual forces to them. I think they're fine for normal use , because the angles of the force vectors from the string wouldnt' work the tips that hard, but if you stepped on the end of the bow or did accidentally dropped it right on the tip or something it might break. Also, stringing these bows is a bit tricky. Very awkward with a stringer. You almost have to use the step thru method.
