The DVD had many good hunts and a great variatey of traditional hunts. You wont find many rabbitt hunts with traditional achery. the Javelina hunts are nice to see stalking. The deer hunts are great and use women and young men. bowfishing the good old fashioned way with just wading and no boat are a nice touch. Pheasant hunting and trying to squirrel hunt add a nice aireal touch. Turkey hunting with a bow let alone tradional equiptment really shows how it can be done with a ground blind. There are different hunters and lots of game to watch the archers use a lot of tactics to harvest these animals. A good video with lots of hunts.

The best bow hunting video I have ever seen. This video captures the true spirit of traditional bow hunting. Clearly, no sponsors, no acting like clowns after the kill, and no passing on 150 class deer because they know they will shoot a larger one later. Real people, real hunting. Shows great respect for the sport the animals. A must have for your collection. There is some tasteful advertisement for 3R and the Masters of the Barebow series, which are also excellent, if I may add.

More footage of Denny and the Sturgis Family from Vision Quest(VQ). If you're a fan of VQ DVDs, you'll find this a good addition to your collection.
As a hunter who enjoys watching traditional hunting, I appreciate a little break from watching the well known TV host shooting a white tail deer from his tree stand over a food plot with a compound bow. I think TV has done that to death. How about a little recurve or longbow for a change? Other Videos I'd recommend from 3-Rivers and the Vision Quest guys are: Javelina, Africa, Water Buffalo Point Blank, and Masters of the Barebow. In addition, I'd highly recommend Steve Tradin's "Glory Hog II" with South Cox and Bob Larson (really good stuff).

I don't watch many hunting videos. This is my fourth or fifth video I have ever watched.

The entry is great. It portrays traditional archery the way it should be. Quality footage combined with tasteful and peaceful music make a great blend. When combined with stingray shooting, carp shooting, rabbit shoots, alligator hunting, deer hunting and even sections devoted to children and 3-D shoots it has what I was hoping to get.

Perhaps a little more story or background behind a few of the scenes would grab the viewer and allow them to connect better with the human characters and their harvests better. It's unclear if that was cut due to the fact that this is a "best of" video. An additional area where the video could be done better is if there was a deer hunt or two from the ground.

All in all - a video worth buying. I hope to see more productions of similar quality in the future
