The Sand County Almanac is just that, an almanac of the places and times described. The book was highly recomended due to its authors insight into good conservation practices, I was not dissapointed in this aspect.
As far as 3Rivers Archery goes, I wish I lived closer. They have the best, most helpfull, knowledgeable staff I have had the pleasure dealing with. I especialy like that I place an order and almost immedeately it is filled and sent on its way, your people are tops.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    I first read this book for an ecology class when I attended the University Of Wyoming. It shaped how I view the natural world for the rest of my life. Any hunter/naturalist who reads this book will know IMMEDIATELY that Aldo Leopold "got it", and was a man WAAAAY before his time.

    I re-read this book every year or so. And I first read it 37 years ago!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
