      The product it self is good. They go up easy and are rigid to the tree. There is nothing better on the treestand market at this time but I wish there was a carrying case or a good way to connect them to the Lone Wolf hang on stand. It can be cumbersome carrying the stand and 4 sticks into the woods.

          Light, strong, quiet, grip each and every tree I've tried them on like angry beavers - the jagged teeth on the "C" shape connection are seriously sticky.
          I truly love these things and feel super safe climbing trees with them along with a harness. I hang my own Alpha stand as I'm climbing up so it is imperative that you feel safe 16' up on your sticks as both of your hands are occupied hanging a stand correctly and securely. The combination is awesome for trying new trees or on public land where you have to pack it all out each time.
          Their only drawback is that they are by their very nature somewhat awkward to hike long distances into the woods with. You have to find a system that works for you in carrying them in that gives you some chance of being both quiet and not grabbing every twig and branch within 3' of you as you walk. Also, I'm not sure many would get 16' in just three sticks without taking undue risk in the distance between steps (at least in my experience). You need 4 to do that regularly and safely. And that is plenty high enough in a tree 9 times outta 10. Just buy the 4th right off and save yourself the trouble.

          I use these climbing sticks with any of my hang-on stands when I've discovered "I just have to have a stand in that tree right now" type situations. They make short work of getting into new trees.
          I can't see how 3 of these climbing sections will get anybody up 16 feet. More like 11 or 12 vertical feet.

                    The Lone Wolf sticks are are the best I've found. They are light and easy to attach securely to the tree. The steps can be easily adjusted from one side of the stick to the other for "left" or "right" foot placement. The sticks easily stack for carrying and attach to the Lone Wolf stands for storage or backpacking.
