                THIS PITCH WORKS GREAT.YOU COULD CALL THIS THE ORIGINAL HOT GLUE.WARM IT UP AND IT BECOMES SOFT.
                FILE A SLOT IN THE SHAFT TO ACCEPT THE END OF THE ARROW TIP OR SPEAR TIP.FIT THE POINT INTO THE SLOT.THEN TIE IT IN PLACE WITH SINEW OR ARTIFICIAL SINEW.THEN SPREAD SOME PITCH ONTO THE JOINT.NOW JUST TAKE YOUR FINGERS AND PRESS THE PITCH AROUND THE JOINT.IT IS EASY TO MOULD AROUND THE JOINT WITH YOUR THUMB.IT WILL HOLD THE POINT ON REMARKABLE WELL.THIS IS A LOT EASIER THAN GOING IN THE FOREST AND COLLECTING PINE PITCH OR GETTING BIRCH BARK AND SWEATING THE PITCH OUT OF IT.I'M SURE OUR ANCESTORS WOULD HAVE APPRECIATED A TIN OF THIS PITCH RATHER THAN ALL THE WORK AND TIME OF MAKING IT.

                          This is not pure "pitch black"', but instead seems like 50% beeswax ( soft, lghter, smells beeswax)
