          I bought this for my 5 1/2 year old. Much nicer in person than shown in picture. Very happy witht he quality of wood and workmanship...Neither of us are experienced and we'll see how well it goes as we improve as to whether or not its a "good" bow and arrow as neither of us are skilled enough to judge. But I am very happy with it.

              I just recieved this bow today as a birthday present for my son. I was absolutely astounded when i pulled it out of the shipping box...it is just drop dead gorgeous, the site pictures deffinately do not do this little bow justice! This is the kind of quality one would expect to see from a custom boyer. The Bocote riser and Birdseye Maple limbs are just stunning, and the finish is flawless, I wish MY bow looked half as good as this bow. Looks and shoots awesome, dont hesitate if your looking for a first bow for your youngster, you cant go wrong with this little beauty!

                Bought this as a gift for my seven year olds to shoot - they have gone through lots of cheap plastic bows. They love the bow and are hooked. I shoot traditional and compound bows, and this bow is well made and durable and as good as anything out there for the beginner youth.

                        We bought this bow for son's twelfth birthday. He and his two brothers spent the rest of the weekend outside with the bow shooting. Ages 10, 12 and 16 all had a great time! We were all amazed with the accuracy, and the bow is really lovely. Stringing the bow can be difficult for a child with shorter arms, but over all we are very pleased. (P.S. Even some of the adults were waiting in line to take a shot!)

                            This is an outstanding little bow. We purchased it for my son's 7th birthday and were worried that he might not fall in love with it if it felt cheap, shot poorly, or was difficult to use. Patience is not among my son's many virtues, but our worries were unfounded. This bow is absolutely beautiful, feels great in the hand, is light, and very easy to shoot. Before we gave it to him the adults had some secret target practice. What a blast! This bow is every bit a real longbow. It doesn't stack, handshock is minimal, and for a bow with so little draw weight it casts arrows with authority. I do recommend getting an armguard if you buy this bow for your child. One slap of the string to the forearm could really ruin the fun. Also because the brace height on this bow is similar to a larger bow, but will be shot by wee folk, the arm guard should be worn closer to the elbow than to the wrist. That's were the string tends to hit my 7 year old anyway. Great bow, reasonable price, perfect service. Check out the YouTube link to see him shoot a bow for the first time in his life and I think your credit card will jump right out of your pocket for this fantastic little thing.

                              This Pilgrim Bow Was Bought for my three year old son.In twenty years of archery/bowhunting i have never seen a bow (wooden bow) this small and is a excellent purchase for anyone cosidering a bow for a child thats around three or four. Dont worry about the draw weight! My son has no problem(drawing)this bow at all,so your child wont have a problem. This bow is well made obviously by a highly skilled bowyer.This bow is pretty to look at too! Horn nocks and a deer drawing on the belly of the bow...pretty cool.
