      This was not on my daughters wish list. She only mentioned an interest in archery in passing (being a fan of the Hunger Game series gave plenty of opportunity to mention it though) and I was unsure if this present was going to be a flop.
      But her eyes lit up after finding it under the tree with other archery supplies (a quiver, foam target and half a dozen arrows). After some brief instruction on how to string the bow and basic steps in where to put her hands and place her feet she has spent hours outside shooting.
      The amount of pull is fairly easy but for a beginner that's perfect. If she out grows it in 6 month it's affordable enough that we won't regret purchasing this bow.

            I bought this for my son (he paid half actually) and it looks like a very sturdy bow. He's 7 1/2 years, and it's a little hard for him to draw it back, but I'm not worried. It will help him build up strength and he can grow into it. I wanted to set up a safe area to shoot in the back yard, and that hasn't happened yet, so we haven't spent too much time with it, but I was able to sink a few on target after 2 tries, so it looks good. I am happy in construction of the bow. I feel the bow will last long enough to pass it on to our baby that is about to be born, when he gets to be 7 or 8.
