      I was a bit surprised when it first arrived, because it didn't look quite like the picture above - I was expecting more of a neoprene tube, whereas this is more of a neoprene plate backed by an elastic tube. It also lacked the black borders, though I think the fact that it's muted brown/tan instead will work better for hunting. I got mine in small/medium - it doesn't fit quite like a glove, because apparently I've got some Popeye in me, but the tube design means that this is much more comfortable than the 3-snap band that I'd been using, and doesn't have that irritating habit of slipping down my arm in the course of practice. We'll see how it works with a long shirt, but suffice it to say, I like it, and can't want to take it out in the woods.

        May be the best armguard I have used.Easy on/off and does not slid down the arm, it stays put.The price is good and the material is tuff.This could be worn over a light long sleve camo shirt or dirrectly on the arm.I live in Florida where the heat is extreme.I found the armguard to be very comfortable even in the summer.Give it a try.

          I think my forearms are about a medium. The arm guard is a Med/SM a little tight. But not to tight or distracting. Works great easy on off.

                        I'm primarily a hunter but do a lot of pratice at my private range on my 5 acre tract. The guard is comfortable and since I got it I haven't hit my forearm with the string once. But it will definately do the job if I do.
