It took me along time and many arm guards later before i discovered the cat guard arm guard.I couldnt be happier .I have tried them all .Im not a big fan of big lumpy leather arm guards .I like it because you dont know your wearing it.And you cant grumble about the price either . construction is very good seems to be quite durable so far .and also is easy to adjust . thanks to the great range 3 rivers stock i may have never discoverd this arm guard . I know this sounds a bit over the top just for an arm guard. But
i have been shooting a lot of years now and i like what i like . and i know a lot of archers can relate to this..

A great arm guard that is very good quality and is comfortable and helps beginners from copping string slap,especially lady beginners find it a big help until they get the right form happening.

I'm not much of a shooter yet; averaging 8 inch groups at 20 yards. That said, some of my releases are not that smooth. So using this armguard I did get some bruising on my forearm, not a big deal, it does protect better than nothing and goes all the way up over the bicep. The problem is that on one of the bad releases, the string bounced down and hit my forearm, tore the fabric of the guard and snagged the plastic rib inside, ripping it out. that was after maybe 100 shots (2 days of practice).
I liked this arm guard, it was very long, had good adjustment and would do a good job of keeping a sleeve out of the way. BUT, it's toast now and I wouldn't recommend it.
