Good glove. I´ve been shooting better since i´ve used it. Nylon scratches face. Check the size, I ordered small because I have short hands, but it fits very tight. Stretches a bit with use. Shot my first turkey with it last weekend!

I bought this glove fully expecting to cut off the nylon tips, after 3 or 4 dozen arrows I felt disconnected from my shooting, I couldn't feel the arrows nor my fingers touching my anchor point. I cut the nylon off the gloves and removed the neoprene pad underneath and I felt instantly better.

The gloves are still VERY tight on my fingers so much so that my one finger bled due to me having cracked cuticles and having to jam my fingers into the stalls. I know from experience that this will loosen up though.

Im also not to fond of the neoprene "pad" they put in in my opinion I would rather have a lighter leather or nothing in its place. Maybe it will be handy come the winter hunting season.

Ok now on to the good parts, the leather is amazing, hands down the best leather Ive ever seen on a glove. Its soft and seemingly durable. My last glove lasted me 2 years or more and the quality of the leather was poor compared to this.

I admire their dedication to durability I just think they took a step in the wrong direction with the nylon.

As for the release I felt that it was to slippery and uncontrollable with the nylon but just peachy when you cut it off and use the leather underneath.

I would defiantly recommend this to a fellow archer but I would also tell them my story and let them decide for themselves.

Comments about Big-Shot-Elk Shooting Glove Elk:

i had been shooting for several years with a normal leather 3 finger archery glove but was feeling that ny release was often not crisp enough. decided to try a glove with cordovan backing and, after extensive shopping around, settle on this one. what a fortunate selection.
in my mind at least, i now have a much crisper and better release and am pleased with the glove in all respects.

Comments about Big-Shot-Elk Shooting Glove Elk:

this glove is great, you just need to get a size smaller or so. i got the large one at first but it was loose fitting, so i returned it and got the small one. at first it was a little hard to put on, but it stretched and it sits on my fingers perfectly when shooting.

Comments about Big-Shot-Elk Shooting Glove Elk:

I was disapointed when I started using this glove. I wasn't sure if I would continue to use it or not. It was very comfortable from the start. The only thing that I wasn't expecting was the break in time. I stuck with it through two weeks of daily eratic shooting until all of a sudden it finally settled in and now I wish I had purchased one sooner.

      Service and delivery comments:

The package arrived in perfect condition. Delivery was prompt, as usual. Thank you.

I have never checked all the pro's. This glove is everything I wanted in a release. Tight feel sensitive enough to know where the string is, but not exactly. Quality is excellent. Very smooth releases. Won't be able to blame my tab anymore.

Comments about Big-Shot-Elk Shooting Glove Elk:

The "criss-cross" velcro wrist strap combined with the non-stretchy back strap limits the ability of the glove to be sized to an individual's hand. It is slightly short on my hand. The elastic panels only allow for lateral expansion, not axial. I like the style of glove with the elastic that stretches when the fingers are flexed.

I have shot traditional bows for 43 years and a great glove means everything, especially when I use it primarily for hunting. The glove fits well, is well made, and releases the string smoothly. There are no downsides to this glove and as stated, it's the best I have used.
